Fruillo & Berri

Fruillo & Berri is a roguelike adventure game about a berry that sets out to save their valley from an unknown enemy.

How to play

• Use arrows or WASD to move
• Aim and melee attack using mouse
• Use number keys 1, 2, 3 and 4 to use a selected vimpain
• Esc to open menu
• Tab to open inventory
  • Drag vimpain in inventory or toolbar to change them

• You can remap your keys as you see fit in the options

The game features various weapons, spells, abilities, armors, trinkets, etc. or "vimpains" as we like to call them. You can find new vimpains by killing enemies. Collect many different vimpains and build your character as you like to play!

The game doesn't have a saving mechanic, but you can restart a level once per playthrough in case you die.

Known bugs & issues

- The player may enter pause menu or open inventory to wait out their vimpain cooldowns. This also results in enemy cooldowns counting down.

Roso Games

The game was developed by a group of individuals with no previous game development experience as a part of Roso Games 2023 project. The project was produced by Roso-tuotanto and its goal was to teach the participants about game development, introduce them to the basic game development skills, maybe nudge the participants towards new study or career plans, as well as help everyone hone their desired set of skills as they saw fit while doing so in a safe and friendly environment.

The game is now in beta and we've recently rolled out several updates fixing a few crashes and several minor bugs and gameplay balance issues. Other than that, we set out to create a game prototype during this project and with the game in its current state, we feel like we've more than accomplished that.
